Grass Tunnel

People of all ages love and value Kent’s unique and varied natural environment and we are fortunate in having a rich variety of both wildlife, both on land and at the coast. Being in these wild places enhances our physical and mental health and can create lifelong interests. Kent Year of Green Action provides the opportunity for people of all ages to understand nature more, whether at home or through events and visiting opportunities throughout the county.

From spending time in one of Kent’s Country Parks to learning about the natural world with Kent Children’s University there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved and make a connection to your local environment in 2019.

Get Started!

Green action can take many shapes and forms, but can also be a great way to discover new places, relax, keep fit, get some fresh air, learn new things, spend time with friends and meet new people. Kent Year of Green Action brings together a wide range of organisations that are already offering opportunities to learn about the environment and to take action.
