The Kent Environment Strategy
We all love Kent, and we all want to live, work and play in an environment that is safe and clean and that has a positive impact on our society, economy, health and wellbeing.
The Kent Environment Strategy sets out how Kent County Council and over 40 other public sector organisations, charities, businesses and volunteer groups, are working to make Kent’s unique and diverse environment as great as it possibly can be.
It focuses on conserving and enhancing natural resources, improving energy and water efficiency, increasing sustainable access to the countryside and local services, supporting low carbon businesses and increasing the county’s resilience to environmental change.
