Exploring Kent means being able to access Public Rights of Way that are well maintained, interesting to use and make you want to return again or try out another route!

Do you enjoy using Kent’s Public Rights of Way network? Routes like footpaths, bridleways, byways and cycle paths? Whether it’s for a Sunday walk with the family, a route you use daily for walking the dog or you’ve just got back into cycling and are trying out new paths, we need to know how you feel about the condition of the route you use.

Providing a high quality, well maintained Public Rights of Way network is the vision of the Rights of Way Improvement Plan 2018-2028. It has been set out to deliver a 10 year improvement plan that will meet the needs and expectations of Kent residents.

The draft strategy is available to view online with a questionnaire to complete with your response.  The strategy can only work with your input and the more feedback received means more can be done to meet the needs of both Kent residents and visitors to ensure that Public Rights of Way are both useful and fun to use!

The consultation is open from now until the 12th September so don’t delay in submitting your response!
