Rainham Recreation Ground

Rainham Recreation Ground is located a car park away from Rainham train station.

The Greenspace covers 2.7 hectares (under half a mile to walk the outside perimeter) and is surrounded by mature trees along its perimeter.

A footpath traces the grassed area’s edge, while another diagonally crosses the land.

The Greenspace is enclosed on all sides with by a fence with remnants of Victorian wrought iron fencing.

Located near the play park, you will find Green Gym equipment. A local walking group called Walk in the park: Rainham meet here to walk and offer advice on how to use the equipment safely.

The children’s playground is a well-equipped space featuring swings, slides, roundabouts, and climbing frames.

Picnic benches are located inside the enclosed play park .

There is also a marked-out football pitch, a horizontal climbing wall, and a basketball net enhance the recreational offerings.
