Explore Kent Junior Cycling Challenge
We are introducing our new Junior Cycling challenge for summer 2024! We want to encourage as many young explorers as possible to get out there to cycle.
For a kid, there is nothing more satisfying than completing a challenge and being rewarded for it. Young explorers can take part in the Explore Kent Junior Cycling Challenge and earn a reward for their cycling adventures. They can mark their achievement with our Junior Cycling Challenge certificates ranging from Bronze (5km), Silver (8km) and Gold (10km).
All you need to do to attain one of these certificates is to send in proof that your child completed any route of these lengths along with the child’s name and we will email you your certificate. Proof could be a picture of you at the start and end of the route, a recorded GPS tracking of the route you completed, a short video clip on the cycle, or a written description of the cycle from the child – any one of these will be accepted.
Email your evidence to explorekent@kent.gov.uk.
If you have any issues or queries regarding the certificate process, feel free to have a look at the challenge certificate privacy notice here, or you can also email us at explorekent@kent.gov.uk.
Accessibility Information: We want cycling and walking to be inclusive! If your young person has additional needs or a disability we can adapt the Awards. Please get in touch and tell us about your child’s unique achievements so that we can send the right certificate.
