Summer Proms at Fort Amherst

Summer Proms at Fort Amherst offers a relaxed programme of live music performances set within the historic Spur Battery Amphitheatre. The event runs every Sunday throughout the summer, creating a welcoming outdoor concert experience.
Thanks to funding from Medway Council, visitors can enjoy free entry to the proms, making it an accessible and inclusive community event for residents and visitors alike. Performances take place in the afternoon, ideal for a leisurely summer outing.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnics, while food and drink are also available on site. Picnic benches can be reserved in advance, with an optional catered picnic including local produce and refreshments.
The event is family-friendly, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Gates open from midday, allowing visitors time to explore the site before the music begins
