Kents’ long distance trails deliver wide horizons, stunning scenery, rich history and an exhilarating sense of freedom.

We have more than 4200 miles of countryside and coastal paths; creamy cliffs, rolling downland, mind-expanding marshes, sweeping beaches, sleepy villages, heritage-packed cities and towns – you can stroll to them all.

Really get away from it all on one of Kent’s long distance trails: The 153-mile, ridge-top North Downs Way winds through the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Chalk peeps from the soil beneath your boots and magnificent views frame the horizon on a route which echos the historic Pilgrims Way.

Tread the 108-mile Greensand Way through ancient woods, the Kent Downs AONB and bluebell groves, past magnificent historic homes, including mesmerizing Knole.

Or attempt the 160-mile Saxon Shore Way arches from Gravesend to Hastings through some of Britain’s most compelling coastal landscapes.
