Walking Route

The Ramsgate to Whitstable walk is a beautiful 25-mile (40.57 km) stretch along the King Charles III England Coast Path. This newly opened section offers a mix of dramatic chalk cliffs, sandy beaches, and charming seaside towns. You could combine part of this new stretch and walk from Herne Bay; a traditional seaside town with a lovely pier and gardens and end your walk in Whitstable renowned for its oysters and beautiful sunsets. The path is well-marked with acorn way-markers and offers a mix of natural, unmade surfaces and smoother paths in towns. It’s a fantastic way to experience the diverse landscapes and coastal beauty of Kent.

Walk from Hythe and end at Steep Street Coffee House with the Hythe to Folkestone Walk: Art & Nostalgia route which is a beautiful and culturally rich route along the King Charles III England Coast Path. This 9.6 km walk is relatively gentle and takes about 2 hours to complete. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy the natural beauty and historical sites of the Kent coast.

The Ramsgate to Broadstairs walk – Sea It All is a scenic and enjoyable coastal route along the Thanet Coastal Path, a linear walk perfect for a well deserved cafe treat at the end. The walk offers a mix of coastal beauty, historical sites, and charming seaside towns, making it a perfect day out. You start the walk at the UK’s only Royal Harbour, known for its vibrant marina and historic architecture and end your walk in the Broadstairs charming town, known for its sandy beaches and connections to Charles Dickens.

Pegwell Bay to Ramsgate Walk: Romans to Victoriana is a perfect 4 mile route starting at Pegwell Bay Country Park – a beautiful nature reserve, known for its diverse bird population and stunning views. The foreshore and mudflats of Pegwell are home to a huge variety of water birds and in the summer the grass is dotted with wildflowers. There is also a large seal colony that can be seen toward the mouth of the Stour River at low tide.
