Green Flag Awarded Parks in Kent

We are thrilled to announce the Green Flag Awards have been presented to nearly 50 parks and green spaces in Kent. Join us in celebrating Love Parks week, starting from July 28th to August 6th.

This annual campaign is all about appreciating our cherished parks, green spaces, and the incredible volunteers and workers who maintain them throughout the year. Let’s come together to celebrate these spaces and make sure they continue to be cherished and accessible for everyone to enjoy. Over 2,200 green spaces in Britain have proudly received the Green Flag Award. Managed by Keep Britain Tidy, this scheme showcases commitment to creating beautiful green spaces.

To celebrate this achievement, take a look at our top parks who have been awarded a Green Flag.

Brockhill Country ParkBrockhill's lake, woods, meadows, picnic and play areas make it a great spot for a family day out.
Mote ParkA magnificent 450-acre green space in Maidstone. This stunning space boasts lush woodlands, sprawling grasslands, peaceful rivers, and a breathtaking 30-acre lake.
Samphire HoeThis 30-hectare nature reserve is a haven for wildlife and boasts incredible biodiversity.
Trosley Country ParkExplore Trosley's stunning 170 acres of woodland. With breathtaking views of the North Downs, a café serving delicious homemade food, and a play area.
Capstone Farm Country ParkA 114-hectare nature reserve on the North Downs hosts ancient woodlands, old orchards, a freshwater lake, and lush meadows.
Leybourne Lanes Country ParkExplore multiple lakes, wildflower meadows, wetlands, and hedgerows spread across 230 acres.
Reculver Country ParkLocated on the Kent Coast, is a haven for diverse plant and animal species. Spread across 26 hectares, this park boasts impressive cliffs.
Shorne Woods Country ParkWith its eco-friendly facilities, fishing lakes, picnic areas, and beautiful woodlands, this is the perfect place to spend a day enjoying nature.
Lullingstone Country ParkLocated in the scenic Darent Valley, Lullingstone Country Park offers diverse habitats including woodlands, grasslands, hedgerows, a freshwater river, and pond.
Teston Bridge Country ParkNestled along the banks of the Medway, this serene haven combines 32 acres of grazed meadow, enchanting river walks, and a delightful children's play area.
Lower Lees Coastal ParkThe Lower Leas Coastal Park has the biggest free adventure play area in the South East. It also has a theater and music performances.
Pegwell Bay Country ParkLocated on the east coast of Kent, Pegwell Bay Country Park offers breathtaking views of Sandwich, Deal, and the cliffs of Ramsgate.
