The Walk in the Park groups have been developed as an ideal way to increase your activity levels and improve you connection to nature while improving your wellbeing regardless of your age or ability.

We are currently delivering a walk at Hempstead Recreation Ground on a Tuesday morning.

The friendly walks are being delivered across Medway so you can enjoy your local green spaces and meet new people.

You are encouraged to walk at your own pace and there are plenty of opportunities for you to stop and rest when you need to.

The walks can take up to 30 minutes which means you get to decide what feels right for you.

There is no charge for the walks and are led by local volunteers.

We can offer full training on how to become a walk leader and assist in the delivery of this program.

Where possible, you will have the chance to try the outdoor gym equipment or be given a home programme so you can practice some strength and balance exercises at home if you prefer.

Please take your own hand sanitiser to use between equipment and at the end of your workout.
