The great lines connects Chatham, Fort Amherst, Brompton, Gillingham and Medway Hospital with a series of direct pathways for cyclist’s and walkers.

The Chatham Naval Memorial stands at the highest point and commemorates 8,517 sailors of the First World War and 10,098 of the Second World War.
