Radnor Park is divided into two distinct parts, separated by Radnor Park Avenue. South of the Avenue, Upper Radnor Park boasts a playground, a wide expanse of fields and a small angling lake, while Lower Radnor Park is wooded with a model yacht pond and another playground next to the primary school at its northern border.
Close to Folkestone Central Station, Upper Radnor Park’s wide open fields feature basketball nets and goal posts, a playground with swings and a fishing pond. There’s also a fenced-in dog run, where dogs can be let off the lead.
Lower Radnor Park’s surfaced paths run alongside a stream through wooded areas, while the model yacht pond is a popular place to sit and rest on one of the nearby benches or feed the ducks. The play area at the bottom of the park has modern equipment including a multi-play unit and a cradle swing and benches for adults.
