High Meadow is tucked away in a residential area in the heart of Dover. There are several entry points that ascend steeply to the meadow, but once at the summit there is a large area of flatter terrain with great views across to Dover Castle and Western Heights. The White Cliffs Country Trail passes through High Meadows, and there is also a network of informal paths used by the local community. At times the land is grazed by Konik Ponies, and dog walkers are asked to keep their pets under control.
Easy access information
This park and open space contains uneven trails, un-surfaced or narrow pathways. Also, there are width restricting features, such as stiles and narrow gaps making it difficult for visitors with pushchairs and/or wheelchairs to access some parts of the site.
