In Faversham, Oare Gunpowder Works Country Park offers a unique blend of history and wildlife with surfaced trails that lead you through scenic woodland and the abandoned ruins of the old gunpowder mills. Alternatively, visit Britain’s oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame, enjoy a variety of local Kentish produce at Macknade, or head over to Brogdale Farm and explore the orchards which are home to the National Fruit Collection.
