Cliffe Woods recreation ground, situated on the Northern side of the village Cliffe Woods offers a little something for everyone.

There is a toddler play park located in the North-east corner and is fenced in on all sides contain play panels, see-saw and swings amongst other play equipment.

The recreation ground also contains some older play equipment such as a tyre swing.

The recreation ground has a couple of goal posts that are set in place. They also have smaller goals for the enjoyment of all footballers. The park can be busy at the weekends when the home football team, Cliffe Wood Colts, enjoy the area.

There are three benches on the North side which, in the summer months are glorious for siting and relaxing while the children enjoy this greenspace.

Cliffe Pools RSPB Reserve is located just two miles North along the B2000. Offering a mixture of salt water lagoons, fresh water pools and grasslands including a network of nature trails, you really can find something for everyone.

The recreation ground has no steps.

There is a single pathway from the car park on Wentworth Drive to the play park.

The car park on Merryboys road does not have a path leading into the greenspace.

There is a grass entrance from Battlesmere Road, ideal for locals to access the recreation ground.
