St Johns Recreational Ground

St John’s Recreation Ground has been recently redeveloped and is beautifully maintained. Baseball courts, tennis courts, and a bowling club are also onsite and available for community use. Older children are well served with a skate park, fixed play equipment and a zip wire. The park also has an exciting sand based play area for younger children. The addition of a water play feature in the sand provides a great catalyst for children’s play and is a focus for families with young children throughout year. The park is largely accessible with surfaced pathways that run round the park. At the bottom of the park is an area of open field and natural woodland, popular with dog walkers and visitors wanting a longer stroll.
