Peaceful Toys Hill, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest, rests along this walk. The area was once an essential part of the local medieval economy for wood collectors, charcoal burners and grazing livestock.
The walk leads through enclosed areas of woodland towards the historic Henden Manor and the fringes of the Country Park at Stubbs Wood, a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
The climb up Toy’s Hill is a little challenging but the views from the top more than make up for it! Finally the hill drops away to return to Ide Hill, past spectacular views across the hillside.
Finish your walk by taking a drink or hearty lunch at the Cock Inn pub it’s Kentish charm at it’s best!
