How to join the ‘King Charles III England Coast Path Challenge’:

  • Once you’ve joined ‘Explore Kent’ you will automatically be included in the ‘King Charles III England Coast Path Challenge’.  Any activities that you log via your personal activity tracker dashboard will appear on the Challenge Leaderboard.
  • You can also access/view the Challenge page via this link:

https://kent.sportsuite.co.uk/tracker/challenges/king_charles_iii_england_coast_path

How to log an activity:

There are several ways you can log an activity:

  • On the Challenge page, click on the blue button ‘Log Activity’ at the top of the page and follow the instructions to log an activity.
  • Click on your Activity Tracker Dashboard (on the blue bar along the bottom of the page) and ‘Add Entry’ on your dashboard.
  • Sync one of the following wearable apps (if you use one): FitBit, GoogleFit or Strava, to your activity tracker account and any activities recorded by the app will automatically be recorded on your activity tracker account.  To connect your account and app, please go to your activity tracker dashboard and click on the ‘watch’ icon on the blue bar at the top of the page.  Then follow the instructions to connect your app. Your activity points and steps, plus any C02 saved through active travel means, will automatically appear on your activity tracker dashboard and the Challenge leaderboard.

  • PLEASE NOTE, if you walk/run/jog/cycle/wheeled etc. for active travel purposes then you will need to go onto your Activity Tracker dashboard, edit the relevant activity and tick YES to active travel for that activity. The C02 you save by travelling actively will then appear on the challenge leaderboard alongside your name.
  • Only walking and wheeling activities will count towards this challenge. You can still log other activities (like swimming, football, running, cycling, yoga) onto your tracker dashboard but the challenge leaderboard will only show steps and points relating to walking activities. If you are using a wheelchair or motorised scooter please record your activity as ‘self-propelled wheelchair’ or ‘walking’ and add a distance travelled. SportSuite will use the distance travelled to calculate average steps.  If your wheelchair is attendant controlled we would encourage you to enter the distance for both the individual in the wheelchair and for the individual controlling the wheelchair (2 entries into the challenge).
