We’ve got lots of useful information on where you can go to make that first step; from HSBC Ride Social which are guided bike rides for different abilities, to information on confidence building sessions and lessons – no matter your age or ability.
If you are new to cycling, you’ll be able to find a learn to ride course run by friendly cycling instructors from Kent County Council. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a bike, as you’ll be able to borrow one. There are also courses to improve your cycling confidence too.
Head down to Cyclopark, Kent’s top of the range multi-sport open-air centre for all abilities, including a skatepark and a kids’ playground. It has the perfect facilities for people of all abilities to learn riding and improve. With all types of biking available from BMX to mountain trails there is endless opportunities to get involved.
