Farming, the sustainable way
More than 70 per cent of land is farmed in the Kent Downs National Landscape making it a way of life for a large number of Kent’s locals, who supply restaurants, cafés and bars in the county. Visit Wye Community Farm, volunteer and learn hands-on farming skills. In the afternoon, walk from Perry Court Farm, visiting the shop and indulge in a locally sourced afternoon tea. You can also become a Rebel Farmer, breaking the mould in the way farming is approached.
