14th March 2016

Bredhurst Woodland Action Group (BWAG) is a friendly team of volunteers who meet on the 3rd Sunday of every month to carry out essential woodland based tasks in Bredhurst Woods – 600 acres of woodland situated on the edge of Kent Downs AONB.

Tasks range from erecting fencing, coppicing and cutting back undergrowth.  No previous experience is required, this is your perfect opportunity to learn woodland management skills that not only will ensure Bredhurst Woods continues to be a well managed and healthy wood, but will also equip you with skills that are not widely known.

Lunch and equipment is normally provided with volunteers meeting in the village beforehand. If you are interested in joining us please email stevewright50@btinternet.com or call or text Steve on 07801 386264.
