The latest announcement from the government asking us all to stay alert, by staying at home as much as possible; working from home if you can, limiting contact with other people, keeping your distance if you go out (2 metres where possible) and washing your hands regularly, means that options for going out need to be taken with a sensible approach, avoiding busy areas and not travelling an excessive distance to exercise.
Many families are looking for ideas to keep the children entertained, and looking forward to a well-earned break from home learning. So to prevent you and your family from becoming bored over the holidays, we have pulled together some wonderfully simple nature-based activities for you to enjoy together at home, in your garden or in your local area.
Please remember to practice social distancing rules while outdoors and only visit with your own household to keep the number of virus cases to the minimum. Please also follow the countryside code, in particular, being respectful of privately owned land and taking your litter home with you.
