Enjoy a gentle walk around the park, with magnificent fews and a ruined castle.

  • 10.30am - 12pm
  • Detling

Organised by Medway Valley Countryside Partnerships.

Experience magnificent views over the surrounding countryside, and features of interest, such as the ruins of a medieval motte and bailey castle that was built in the reign of King Henry II.

The experienced leader will guide you on a relaxing walk to take in the views and discover the wildlife and history of the park.

The meeting point is the car park at White Horse Woods Country Park, ME14 3JE near the park sign. Parking charges apply.

The path may be muddy in places, so wear sturdy footwear, clothing suitable for the weather and bring a waterproof jacket. Parts of the park can be windy, so please come prepared. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.

As this is part of our free Involve Kent Wellbeing Walks Programme, we will ask participants to complete a short and confidential health questionnaire for our funders.
