BADGELLS WOOD CAMPSITE

Badgells wood campsite is in a stunning woodland location allowing you to camp directly among the trees so that you spend your entire weekend bathed in the atmosphere of the forest. Badgells have always been passionate about creating an off-grid experience, getting people back to the simplicity of life and nourishing environment of Nature.

The campsite has large pitch clearings inside the woodland that hold 3-4 tents each and have their own firepit areas and there is a dedicated campfire circle area where we will meet for the various wellness activities across the weekend.

FAQS

SO IS IT A RETREAT?

Think of it like a laid-back weekend retreat without the usual high ticket price that often comes with retreats. A weekend that will provide connection, wellbeing and community but also gives you more freedom to chill and please yourself. A perfect weekend to share with friends or an opportunity for some solo time whilst still be able to connect with a community.

SO WHAT’S THE PLAN?

Here’s the framework for the weekend:

Friday

3pm onwards – You can arrive anytime from 3pm to pitch your tent or get settled into your bell tent. I’ll be there to meet and greet and show you to your pitch and point out the parachute circle where we will meet up over the weekend.

Dinner will be self-catered so ensure you bring food for this.

8pm – Welcome firepit circle at the parachute circle with herbal teas and cake

Saturday

Wake up in your own time and cook yourself some brekkie.

9am – 12pm – Forest Bathing & Qi Gong

1pm – A gorgeous 1-hour walk through field and forest to the local pub for lunch. This is optional and if you prefer you can chill at the campsite and prepare your own lunch.

7pm – Communal BBQ followed by fire pit circle with meditation and ritual. Bring along something to stick on the BBQ so we can all cook and eat together in community. Then I will guide a relaxing meditation and ritual session that will prepare you for a blissful nights sleep among the trees.

Sunday

8:30-9:30am – Morning Qi Gong and Forest Meditation session with herbal teas and breakfast snacks. Our final circle before we depart.

11am – That’s check out time with plenty of hugs goodbye from all the amazing connections you will have made from your weekend escape!

  1. Your camping pitch or bell tent.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED

If you are bringing your own tent you will need to bring all the necessary equipment and bedding required for your equipment (list can be supplied if you are new to camping!)
