KSCPs Ashford volunteer group meet every Wednesday somewhere in the town or surrounding countryside, to work on wildlife habitat, or sometimes to enable appropriate access to nature.

Led by a partnership officer and supplied with tools, the volunteer group work on a range of practical tasks that change season to season. All the tasks aim to create, improve or maintain some kind of wildlife habitat in the area. Volunteers learn about nature, get physical exercise (appropriate to their abilities) and enjoy the outdoors in good company.

People meet on site at 10:00 or there is a pick up in Ashford at 9:30; the task usually ends around 3:30 – 4:00 pm.
