Volunteering Event – Alexanders Control & Footpath Clearing, St. David`s Field, Western Heights Nature Reserve
Everyone is welcome to join conservation events organised by the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership where you can learn more about nature.
White Cliffs Countryside Partnership organises a regular programme of volunteer conservation events throughout the year.
Help clear the alexanders plant (brought to Britain by the Romans as a pot vegetable).
We’ll be cutting it back from the footpaths, steps and the chalk grassland.
There will be other tasks, such as, litter clearing, short, sparse bramble and sapling control.
