Volunteer Event – Coastal Guardian Training – 20 March
Looking for a good reason to visit the coast more often? You can help make a big difference.
- 10:00am
- Gillingham
If you are a regular visitor to parts of Kent’s coastline, or looking for a good reason to visit the coast more often, you can help make a big difference.
Coastal Guardians will help with recording and reporting wildlife sightings, take part in beach cleans and other seaside activities, as well as reporting strandings, pollution incidents and illegal activities to the relevant authorities.
LOCATION: Riverside Country Park, Lower Rainham Rd, Rainham, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 2XH
Coastal Guardians will be able to stay connected to one another using a special Facebook group and through regular communication with our Project Officers. We are looking for individuals and groups to become Coastal Guardians, who are able to spend a minimum of 2 hours per month helping in this way.
If you enjoy being on the beach or coastal paths, and want to get more involved with your local area, this is the role for you.
