Volunteer Day & Working Horse Demonstration

We all know how beautiful the Downs’ landscape is, but did you know that traditional management is needed to ensure habitats are protected and maintained?

If you would like to help in this essential voluntary work, why not come along and meet the friendly people of the local community groups who do this rewarding work?

Sunday April 15th is the date of our next Volunteer Day.  On this day, heavy horses from Weald Woodscapes will be the stars of the show, demonstrating the non-mechanical methods of woodland management, in a beautiful woodland setting full of bluebells.

LOCATION: Cobham & Cuxton Woodland Project, Lodge Lane, Cobham, DA12 3BS

Volunteers of old, new or “still thinking about it” are invited to come along to meet the team at the Cuxton and Cobham Woodland Project and find out how you might help them or another of our groups.
