Volunteer Day: Walking Trails

Do you enjoy being outdoors and have some free time to help?

We are looking for a team of volunteers to help maintain our new walking trails at Bore Place.  If you enjoy the outdoors and would like to volunteer some of your time, we’d love for you to join us in our beautiful countryside setting helping to repair and improve our walking trails.

We are expanding the network of walking trails around Bore Place.  This project will transform our popular single trail into three trails of different lengths which will also link up with other footpaths, improving the network of walks in the area and access to the countryside for all.

LOCATION: Bore Place, Bore Place Road, Chiddingstone, Edenbridge, Kent, TN8 7AR

No regular commitment or skill set required – just enthusiasm to work outside and get stuck in! Adults (18+) only.  Tea and biscuits provided!

It’s helpful for us to have an idea of numbers to plan suitable tasks for the day.  Please register your interest below.

What to bring

  • Packed lunch
  • Water bottle
  • Waterproof

What to wear

  • Dress for the weather
  • Sturdy footwear is essential (wellies/walking boots/work boots)

This project is supported by funding from Sevenoaks District Council Community Grant Scheme and Ibstock Cory Environmental Trust.
