Starts from Northbourne Village Hall car park. A walk visiting the sites of the Kent coal mines of Tilmanstone, Snowdown and Betteshanger, which all closed in the 1980’s. This industrial heritage walk will also visit some of the former pit villages and walkers will be able to see two monuments in memory of the Kent miners. Lunch stop.
