The Friends of Westgate Parks Open Day and Community Archaeological Dig

Lots of activities and entertainment for all the family to enjoy including: Falconry Displays, Archery, Punch and Judy shows, Dance Displays and Live Music.   Be taken back in time by looking at photographs of the Westgate parks past and present.   See some hands on archaeology in action as the Canterbury Archaeological Trust unearth more of Britain’s oldest road.

No need to book— There may be a small charges for some activities, but the majority are free.

All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the event unless otherwise stated.
