Tunbridge Wells  Circular Walk.

Join us to celebrate the relaunch of the Tunbridge Wells  Circular Walk.

We will be walking the Sussex Circular, Starting at Dunorlan Park.

We will provide maps of the route.

Join us at 8:45 for a 9:00 start.  Where we will register, get a contact info and provide you with your map. The walk leaving at 9 will be guided at a moderate speed completing the route.

 

Meeting point: Dunorlan Park, Hall’s Hole Road Car Park, Tunbridge Wells, TN2 4RE. Map ref TQ600393.

Distance / duration:  Full Walk 15 miles / 6-8 hours.

Distance / duration: Half Walk to Groombridge (Spa Valley Railway back to Tunbridge Wells) 9 Miles / 4-5 hours.

Difficulty: Moderate

(Moderate – walks for people with country walking experience and a good level of fitness. May include some steep paths and open country, and may be at a brisk pace. Walking boots and warm, waterproof clothing are essential)

Please bring a packed lunch and drinks with you. There are toilets in Dunorlan Park and you will pass some pubs along the way. Please dress for the weather and wear suitable walking shoes. KHWP staff are First aid trained and will be at the start/finish of the walk as well as in the led walk.

KHWP is a non-profit making countryside management partnership started in 1991 and based in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells.

They work with the whole community, linking people and the countryside, by raising awareness and encouraging action through various projects and events.
