Summer at Knole

Celebrate 300 years of painter Sir Joshua Reynolds and look at Knole in a whole new way through frames big and small with a new family trail in the picture-perfect parkland. Explore the house using the new picture frames guide or grab a spotter trail for little ones. Recreate your own Reynolds inspired self-portrait, with clothes to dress up in and a frame to surround your scene ready for a photo. Get creative with drop in craft activities in Green Court on Mondays during the school summer holidays (£2pp plus normal admission). Each week there’s a different theme, from archaeology to recreating your own impressive frames and portraits. Colouring is also available. There’s a ceramic painting workshop for little ones (fee applies, pre-booking essential). Make sure to browse the children’s bookshop too.
