Stargazing at Lullingstone Country Park

Come along to Lullingstone Country Park, a dark star site, for a short talk by a member of Orpington Astronomical Society and an opportunity to view the stars though telescopes.

Some of the challenging and exotic objects in the night sky we hope to view will include the Pleiades, a beautiful set of 7 stars, the famous Orion Nebular and the Andromeda galaxy which are only 2.5 million light years away!

This event is for anyone aged 8 years or over, and the event is mostly outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather.  Not suitable for young children or dogs.

All attendees will require a ticket and there is no provision of childcare.

LOCATION: Lullingstone Country Park, Castle Rd, Eynsford, Kent, DA4 0JF

COST: £5.00 per person, there will  be homemade vegetable soup and roll, and a selection of hot and cold drinks available for sale.

Please note, there is a pay and display car park at Lullingstone Country Park.
