Bluebell Walk is back!
Join us on Sunday 8 May for routes exploring the beautiful Kent countryside, starting and finishing at Cudham Recreation Ground, Kent, where there will also be plenty to enjoy for all the family including kids’ entertainment, live music and a BBQ to keep walkers and supporters refreshed!
Choose from a gentle three mile stroll, five or seven mile walk or a more ambitious nine mile ramble, with refreshment stops en route at Downe and Halstead village halls. It’s free to register before the day, and we ask that you raise sponsorship to support the hospice’s work in the community. Claim your free Bluebell Walk t-shirt if you pledge to fundraise £50 or more!
Transport Update – Stagecoach London will kindly be providing a free of charge shuttle bus from Orpington train station on the day. Times are to be confirmed but we will update this page/our website. There are two pedestrian exits for Orpington station; leave by the main exit (Crofton Road side, by platforms 1 & 2), and the bus will stop in the yellow hatched area just opposite the Renault Garage. The bus stop and bus will be displaying Bluebell Walk signage.
This event takes place every two years, and in 2014 over one thousand people took part, raising a fantastic £55,000 to enable St Christopher’s to continue providing care for local patients and their families. The Martin family of Green Street Green said: “It was a fantastic day for the family and our best friends (including the dogs!). Overall a great walk for a great charity.”
Event takes place at: Cudham Recreation Ground, Cudham Lane South, Kent, TN14 7QB, United Kingdom
