SOUTH FORELAND AT WAR

A walk to explore the wildlife and history of the South Foreland Valley, especially the military remains.

Please bring a torch and wear suitable footwear for rough ground as we hope to explore some of the easy-to-reach underground structures (please note that you will NOT be going deep underground and that we will be going underground only briefly each time).

Suggested donation of £2 per person appreciated.

MEET: Car Park in Village (near the Church and not the car park at St Margaret’s Bay), off High Street, St Margaret’s-at-Cliffe, CT15 6AS.

DISTANCE: 3 miles (2.5 hours).  GRADE: 4 (some rough ground).
