Discover the history and wildlife along a stretch of the Royal Military Canal, visiting the sound mirrors on The Roughs, with magnificent views of the coast, returning by a different route along the canal.

MEET: Outside Hythe station of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, Hythe, CT21 6LB (TR 154 346) (Please do not park in the station car park but park nearby on Military Road).

DISTANCE: 4 miles (2.5 hours).

GRADE: 3 (one steep slope)
