Start with a Full English breakfast at 9:30am, followed by an illustrated stroll at 11am that takes you through our industrial past following the route the miners took to Tilmanstone Colliery.
Walk through what was the pit yard visiting remains of the East Kent Light Railway and abandoned Elvington Halt platform on the way.
Return to the Community Centre for a cup of tea and free entry to Elvington and Eythorne Heritage Centre with its large collection and display of local mining memorabilia and much more.
