The Putting Down Routes team and Black Girls Hike are delighted to offer a scenic walk in Kent.

Set in 460 acres of chalk grassland and ancient woodlands, Lullingstone is home to a diverse range of wildflowers, particularly orchids in the spring  and summer. This trail is great for birding, hiking, and mountain biking. This is a lovely gentle trail taking you beside the golf course and through Beechen Wood where you can enjoy the scenic paths and keep an eye out for wildlife as we make our way round Lullingstone Country Park.

⏰ What is the duration of this event? 4 hours with lunch stop and breaks (depending on pace).

📏 What is the distance of the walk? 5.6 miles (9km)

🔄 Is this a circular or linear walk? A linear walk, starting at Shoreham Station and ending at Eynsford Station.

👩🏿‍🦱 Who can attend this walk? This is a safe space for Black/Mixed Race cis and trans women and non-binary people of Black African and/or Caribbean descent who are comfortable in a space that centres the experiences of Black women. We are not a BAME, POC, BIPOC,WOC, Politically Black or Ally organisation.

This event is part of the North Downs Way National Trail and Kent Downs National Landscape’s Putting Down Routes Project. Working with partners Wild With Wheels and Black Girls Hike. This is funded through The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Defra’s Farming in Protected Landscapes.
