Join Paul Holt from the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership who is site manager at Samphire Hoe for a guided walk discovering the history of the area. From the creation of the railway line, the early Channel Tunnel attempts and the first coal mine in Kent. Hear the voices from the past of the people who lived and worked in the dramatic landscape of the white cliffs. Meet outside the Education Shelter.

Accessibility details

Although the site is fully accessible with wheelchairs, the paths can be uneven, due care should be taken. The tour will be outside and last 1 – 1.5 hours. Appropriate clothing should be worn based on weather conditions. Tour may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.

Access to the site is free but there is a parking charge of a maximum of £3.00 all day.
