Sea Kayaking Seal Safari
Just south of Ramsgate lies the National Nature Reserve of Pegwell Bay at the mouth of the Stour Estuary.
Here you’ll find a colony of breeding seals, including our smaller harbour or common seal, and plenty of birds to spot too.
The beauty of sea kayaking is that you can get up close to wildlife, paddling quietly along, without threatening our wonderful creatures. Naturally inquisitive, you may even get a few seals swimming close by and popping their heads up to look at us. You may even be lucky enough to see a harbour porpoise or even dolphin
MEET: Grove Ferry Picnic Site, CT3 4BP
