Running from Thursday 29th September – Sunday 2nd October 2016

Returning for its second year, SALT festival of the Sea and Environment will take you on a creative and inspiring journey through the landscape and culture of the coast.

There will be opportunities to walk, talk, make, write, observe, have fun, and share ideas over good food.

SALT is cocurated by Quarterhouse, Folkestone Fringe and Chris Poundwhite of Go to the Pine with ideas gathered from the local community.

The festival explores the way coastal environments shape who we are and how we think, and asks what the future might hold for the people and places that exist on the edge.
