River Tales in June

Walk the river Dour, a chalk stream, from Kearsney to Dover.

Explore its industrial heritage, flour mills, paper mills, saw mills, breweries and tanneries which once lined the banks of the river, the workhorse that powered the growth of the town and its surrounding villages.  Hear enchanting river tales that will end in a final performance in Dover Town performed by Dover Tales.

Please bring money for bus/train fare to make your own way back to Kearsney, or get a bus/train/lift to the start of the walk.
