A brief history of parks & gardens in time

In this talk, Karen Jones, a specialist in parks and garden history, will explore how the sites of Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens sit within a distinguished history of designed spaces that includes the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Palace of Versailles and the many English landscape parks designed by ‘Capability’ Brown.

The talk will take place in Kearsney Abbey cafe on Wednesday 19 July 2017, from 6.30pm – 7.30pm.
