Paws at the Castle

With the emphasis on rescue dogs and visitors’ beloved pets, Hever Castle’s ‘Paws at the Castle’ returns on 6 – 7 August.

The popular annual event has a packed programme of entertainment and boasts an impressive line-up of dogs, from pedigree to cross breed and working dog to pampered pooch.

Over the weekend, visitors have the chance to enter their four legged friends in a fun dog show, with awards for the winners in each category.

Owners can also talk to experts about their dog’s behaviour and browse the wide variety of stalls selling dog related goodies and accessories.

The event will include displays and entertainment from a variety of dogs, including guide dog puppies, Labrador rescue, and Newfoundland dogs in action.

The popular huskies from the Siberian Husky Welfare Association will also be in attendance throughout the weekend increasing awareness of their plight and raising money for the charity.
