Patchwork Players Dance Lessons at Chartwell

Dance lessons on the lawn at Chartwell inspired by Winston Churchill's daughter Sarah hosting performances on the lawn with her troupe 'The Patchwork Players'. The theme for the classes will be following the journey of a child with dreams of becoming a dancer and LCA Stage Academy will encourage you to recreate the magic that Sarah brought to the Terrace Lawn in her dancing days. During the 1 hour session you will learn a whole routine. The dances will be different each week and the LCA Stage Academy will work with you towards putting on a performance at the end of each class. There will be elements of technique included for each dance style. 11am to 12pm on Thursdays in the school holidays: • Thursday 27 July: Jazz/Modern • Thursday 3 August: Musical Theatre • Thursday 10 August: Contemporary • Thursday 17 August: Jazz/Modern • Thursday 24 August: Musical Theatre • Thursday 31 August: Contemporary
