This fun packed course will explore how the natural environment can be used to stimulate the senses of Early Years children. There will be plenty of practical activities, games and songs that are demonstrated and discussed with the opportunity to make some of your own personal equipment. The course will teach how the environment can be used as a tool to develop and extend children’s patterns of learning. It will also provide ideas and advice on how small sensory gardens can be created and managed.
Much of the course will take place outside, and you will need to bring appropriate clothing and footwear.
Lunch isn’t provided, so could you please bring your own. If you are unable to there is a lovely cafe on site. Tea and coffee will be provided.
