Outdoor Activity – Teenager Tide Walk
Join tidal expert William Thomson on this walk and talk for teenagers as he explains all about the ocean's tides.

Do you have a teenager that loves learning about the ocean? If so, they will love this unique Tide Walk led by William Thomson.
Through the course of this walk through St. Margaret’s Bay participants will learn all about how the oceans’ tides work, as well as how they are affected by astrology and meteorology.
William will explain about waves and currents, and how every beach in the world has different ones depending on their topography.
Participants will be able to ask William any questions they may have, and by the end of the walk they will be true tidal experts!
This is the perfect half-term activity for any teenager who is fascinated by the ocean.
Please note due to funding requirements this event is only open to 13 – 18-year-olds.
