Spring is one of the most beautiful and exciting times of the year here at Brogdale Collections. The trees are bursting with blossom and the hum of bees fills the air. What better way to spend the day than on a family picnic in the beautiful surroundings of the blossom-covered orchard! Bring your favourite teddy bears to share your picnic and to join in with crafts, songs and stories.

The arrival of blossom is celebrated across the world and in Japan it is known as ‘Hanami’ which means ‘flower viewing’. Blossom symbolizes the welcoming of spring and a time to wonder at the natural beauty of the world around us. Here at Brogdale you can experience that same feeling of immersing yourself in this special time of the year by walking through the 3,200 varieties of blossoming apples, pears, cherries and plums.
