Experience Nature friendly gardens
New for this season, some of our Gardening for a Wilder Kent volunteers are opening their gardens and giving practical tips on how to make all types of gardens nature friendly. Experienced garden advisors will be on hand to deal with questions and offer advice. We will continue to maintain social distancing and hygiene measures to minimise the risk of spreading covid. Booking is essential.
This event gives you a chance to tour a stunning nature-friendly garden. The 1.5-acre garden features flowers and shrubs for pollinators, productive areas for vegetables and fruit, a meadow and two ponds, one recently created for Great Crested Newts. Timed visits will allow plenty of time to chat with experienced volunteers and get tips and advice for developing your own garden. We are also hoping to be able to run a small plant stall.
